The HuMach team hosted the interdisciplinary workshop “Changing Human-Machine Interactions in Warfare: Perspectives across Disciplines” at SDU in Odense. Scholars at various career stages and from different disciplines presented their ongoing research in the field. Professor Toni Erskine (Australian National University) delivered the keynote lecture entitled “‘Borgs in the Org’ and the Decision to Go to War”. Moreover, HuMach collaborator Professor Denise Garcia (Northeastern University) delivered concluding remarks on the governance of AI in the military domain.

The event was hosted by the Center for War Studies, University of Southern Denmark and supported by the Independent Research Fund Denmark.
