Visit to the University of Antwerp

24-25 April 2025

Anna Nadibaidze visited the University of Antwerp (Belgium) to deliver a guest lecture on applications of AI in the military domain for Masters students of International Relations and Diplomacy. She also met and exchanged ideas with the team of PLATFORM WARS, a project led by Associate Professor Marijn Hoijtink and conducting pioneering research on the role of digital platforms in warfare.

Guest lecture at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study

Ingvild Bode delivered the guest lecture “Human-Machine Interaction and the Exercise of Human Agency in the Military Domain” at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS) in Odense, Denmark.

AI Lund lunch seminar

19 March 2025

Anna Nadibaidze delivered an online guest lecture entitled  “Conceptualizing the Human Role in Warfare: Beyond Control and Towards Agency?” at an AI Lund lunch seminar. She discussed some of the limitations of meaningful human control in the debate on AI in the military as well as the importance of investigating how the exercise of human agency is affected by human-machine interactions.
